The participants, especially the visitors, received first-hand information about the problems of draught. None of the students will ever take fresh water for granted after seeing dried rivers, salinated lakes and containers on the rooftops to collect rain water. Being the first transnational meeting of the project, the first steps of working as teams and groups were established. But it was not all about water and the lack of it: On the first day of the visit we learned about the school systems of different countries, we learned about the specific features when it came to water management in each country. The working language being English, all the presentations were held in English and there were quite spectacular presentations. The straw of life was a 'hands-on' workshop, where the students had to build a kind of a system where muddy and dirty water was purified. This was a fascinating workshop as the groups were mixed (different nationalities) and the instructions were naturally in English. In order to have a satisfactory outcome, they had to work together as a team, follow the instuctions together and act as a team. After a 30 minute work all the groups were able to present their sample of purified water. The outings showed us different sides of Cyprus. We saw natural reservations and visited Akrotiri Environmental Center, which provided us with facts about the past and present situation of the country's envirionment and nature. We realized that the island doesn't exist only for touristic purposes, but showed us the side that there are actually local inhabitants in the island who had to make sure that their access to fresh water must be secured.

The activities carried out in Finland dealt mostly with increasing the awareness of the use of water in different countries, including both positive freetime activity related things and thought-provoking global issues. Not only were the activities eye-opening to the foreign participants, but also to the Finnish students. By measuring the quality of water from different sources and different parts of Europe and by predicting the future role of water worldwide and how it will affect the globe altogether was very challenging but extremely useful in order to raise environmental awareness.
In the workshops the students were always divided into mixed national groups so that every country would have their say and view on the issues under discussion. This way all the students had to speak English when talking about a very current topic. All the groups also wrote down their 'declaration', which undoubtedly developed both their written and spoken English. Before arriving in Finland all the participants (and their families) had measured their consumption of water for one week. The students were able to compare the similarities and differences of the water usage between all the nationalities. Along with educational workshops there were also leisure activities with snow: tobogganing, dog sledding, swimming in ice and snow shoe walking. All these activities were new to the visitors and the local hosts taught the guests what to do and how to do it. The host families were excited about the foreign visitors and some families actually even thanked the school for having the possibility to act as a host family and show the guests a glimpse of a Finnish life. |

The previous studies have been carried out in secondary education in the subjects of History and Sciences, in professional training non-teaching hours have been used - Understanding the need for renewable energy. A study about renewable energies: hydraulic and tidal. Vocational training: students and teachers perform the study in non-teaching hours Secondary School: Sciences - A ppt has been generated from the previous study Done in the subject Office Suite – vocational training - Questions about La Alhambra Vocational training: students and teachers perform the study in non-teaching hours Secondary School: History Google forms – La Alhambra Done in the subject Office Suite – vocational training - Creation of maps with Google Earth. Hungary Impact, benefits:
The information about the event was announced to the whole school. On the days when activities were held at school, several groups of students were invited to watch the presentations and the performances, so they could get cultural experience about different countries and cultures, and this also improved their foreign language skills. A group of 28 students were involved in the performance of the Hollókő "Lócsolkodás" fesztival on Thursday. Students benefited because they practiced their foreign language skills, artistic and presentation skills. The students had a great chance to make friends and to build their international social network. The students, who were directly involved in the organization of the meeting and the creation of presentations and performances will share their experience with their peers during form-masters' classes and open school days. The students gained cultural experience about various cultural traditions in Europe. They learned a lot about the history of the different countries focusing on the influence of water basins, seas, rivers and lakes on the development of the region or country. Students practiced and improved their presentation skills and thus their self-confidence grew. Because of this their motivation and satisfaction with school work increased. This international learning activity benefitted the involved teachers as well when science teachers could practice their English skills, too. All participants made new friends on international level and got fresh motivation to take part in intenational projects. Professional satisfaction was increased. The international learning activity was extremely beneficial for the prestige of our school. We joined the celebration of the Erasmus Day and this event made us a part of an international community. The activites on Erasmus+ Day were filmed by Hungarian TV Channel 1 and were broadcast October 23. This is a great opportunity to promote quality and equality in our school |

Italy: Impact
The participants broadened their vision of Europe and learnt about the differences of the participating countries and languages. In the mobility to Pachino, the students also got to know about the flora and fauna of all the countries involved. All the students who were involved improved their skills of English during these two years, thanks to the close relationships they have established across the borders.
